Al convertirse en Casa Noviciado hubo que atender las necesidades de los novicios, sus estudios y formación y por este motivo pensaron en comercializar una bebida aromática, extraída de la infinidad de hierbas autóctonas de los montes del Desierto de las Palmas. En los sótanos del Monasterio se instalaron unos alambiques y se comercializaron las primeras botellas de Licor Carmelitano.
